One of the greatest at this festival!

Not spoiled with livegigs with these guys (only the second time ever) and both times they were absolutely brilliant! Last time was at the same festival but indoor stage and now playing as the last band outdoors, which suited them very well. Huge crowd and just freaking amazing performance! All hail Lauri Werwolf.
The first time I even listened to SATANIC WARMASTER was in a car travelling from Barcelona to Madrid for a second WATAIN / SHINING show on the trip(2011?). “Where Eternity Awaits”…#neverforget. Still one of the favourites.

Found a review from 2016. SW performing the first time in the UK (Glasgow). With all the usual shitstorm, resulting the original venue backing off etc etc.(Vice) The usual. I met the promotor when I was in UK with VALKYRJA/ARCHGOAT the same year. Great person! Support the good ones! https://www.facebook.com/GigsinGlasgow95

Finnish Black Metal since 2009. “Does pure black metal have a purifying effect? Sometimes I think so. It makes me forget the daily shit and allows me to take a short trip into another dimension. Of course, there are some journeys that do not end in an outstanding experience, but what can go wrong if you have a Finnish tour guide? Satan says: not much. Rienaus do not mark an exception in this context.”Felix 1666 @ Metal Archives review
“Rienaus is raw second wave Black Metal with a typical sound and atmosphere for Finnish Black Metal. I also draw influences from old French bands like Torgeist and Mütiilation”
– Mavrofos 2017

Not the easiest task to start up day 2 at a festival around lunchtime. Still they did good and as usual, the metalheads delivered and a fair amount of them braved hangovers after a long first night (some with no sleep at all:)).
Thought that a couple of the guys looked familiar:) The vocalist Mavrofos (Eetu Ikonen) and the bassplayer Lucifuge Rofocale also play in AZAZEL.

Roadtrip till GBG med excellent sällskap, mina gamla polare i GRÁ. Grymt bra gig!

“Grá was formed in 2010 by Heljarmadr and Dimman. The band has since then released en EP, three full lenght albums, a mini-CD, two singles, a full live video, done numerous live concerts around Europe and several music videos. Grá performs classic Swedish styled black metal, alternating between Swedish and English lyrics.
The name Grá comes from a mixture of the Icelandic “grár” and the Swedish “grå”, simply meaning “gray”. The major content of the lyrical concept is based upon the ancient Scandinavian religion, or rather upon the dark aspects of ancient Scandinavian spirituality.”
