A bit tricky one…but A.M.S.G. was actually SEIGNEUR VOLAND
The M.A. : “Xaphan conceptualized the band in 1996 while serving a prison sentence for grave desecration. He was released in April 1999 and recruited the other members.
Reformed to play live for 3 reunion gigs in 2004 (Netherlands, Switzerland and France) and again in 2019 (Finland, Belgium, Germany and Ukraine), Japan in 2020 (Tokyo and Osaka), and again in 2022 when they played a surprise set at SteelFest using the name “AMSG”.”

So there you go. Need to figure out where to sort them in the band list:/ Really cool band live!

IKU-TURSO Finnish/Dutch black metal paganism, darkness & death since 2017.

 

They released the “Ikuinen Steelfest MMXXII Rehearsal” on a limited edt cassette (50 copies,no digital release) 12th of May 1922. A Few copies were given to the audience after the gig and band copies sold at the festival exclusively (according to Discogs. Kinda odd. And cool:)

First day at the festival and I didn´t yet know how our host and festival general looked like. So when seeing COMMANDER AGARES on stage, I didn´t realize that the guy was right there. They just made a limited edition split with GRAVELAND to be released the day after the gig. Guess it was available in the merch. All Hail Jani Laine :)

Som med ROME & Swallow The Sun, hela giget plåtad (på gott & ont) med urgamla meckiga Helios 44-2 58/2.0. Ingen autofokus i sikte:) Gick väl sådär ok.
Själva giget var galet bra! Dagen till ära så fanns det även ett fotodike light (aldrig på Slaktis normalt) som bröderna Viking vaktade och med jämna mellanrum tryckte tillbaka. Mot slutet fick dom ställa sig och bara försöka stå emot för det blev helt galet :D Lämnade kameran och filmade med mobilen istället under sista låten men har inte ännu hunnit komma på hur man vänder på skitfilmen. Återkommer när jag gjort. Pissigt filmat såklart men den KÄNSLAN!!! Galnaste slutet på nån spelning jag sett på länge. Tom delar av Death Disco folk lämnade partybalkongen, tryckte sig till fronten och röjde satan:D

Utan hela bandet men fantastisk spelning med Jerome och Yann. Alan Nemtheanga från PRIMORDIAL hoppade in i slutet.
Alla bilder med min übergamla manuella Helios 44-2 som jag köpte av min Ukrainska objektivdealer (och vän, trots att vi aldrig har träffats IRL) Roman på Retro Foto House. Rätt passande av flera anledningar:))
