“This is for real. Music really has the power to change people’s lives and how they choose to live it, and if that isn’t magic then I honestly couldn’t tell you what is.”Tobias Fongelius of VOODUS in an interview for Bardo Methodology

The band´s name is taken from the Destruction song “Total Desaster”. The long time drummer Tormentor left the band last year but keeping busy with Asphyx, Carnal Ghoul, Infektor, Metalucifer & Sodom. The new guy Hont did well, tho:)

“Avslut is a weapon, an uncompromising passage to meet your fate.”
Second AVSLUT gig within quite a short period of time. Awesome bm band from Stockholm. This time I was a bit more familiar with the stuff and except some technical issues interrupting the flow, it was a freaking good performance!

ROME I´m way more familiar with. I love the albums but only saw them live once before. Dark, beautiful and very very cool! The first ever ROME album I ever heard was “Flowers from Exile” and it´s still my favourite.
Great evening!!
Some snapshots also below the livepics. Just from the merch area. And a picture of Vlad (DDP):)

Always something magical and extra ordinary with the Icelanders (?). New band for me ( “Árstíðir (English: Seasons) is an Icelandic classically influenced indie-folk rock/chamber pop band. The defining characteristic of this band is their vocal harmonies, as all members sing” – all according to WIKI).  Beautiful performance and very nice guys:)

Daníel Auðunsson ‐ Guitar, vocals / Gunnar Már Jakobsson ‐ Guitar, baritone guitar, vocals / Karl James Pestka ‐ Violin, viola, electronics, vocals /  Ragnar Ólafsson ‐ Piano, baritone guitar, vocals

Dark Ambient/Darkwave from Germany.
“For those who don’t want to check Wikipedia: “Apoptose” describes the so called programmed cell death. It simply means that a cell dies when it is damaged or ill. This program works in nearly every living cell except for cancer cell that live on and on. When I was looking for a name for my musical project that was something that came to my mind. I especially love the literally meaning of the Greek word “Apoptosis”. It means leaves falling off trees. I still think that it fits perfectly to the topics and atmosphere of the music”
