Chaos Over Europe Tour in town. Arrived a bit late…never saw Emergency Gate. Wasn´t in time for the first 3 songs with Eluveitie (“New Wave of Folk Metal” from Switzerland) either, so not many pics on them. A bit sad because it was a nice band with some fun instruments. I shooted some random pics from the crowd but they didn´t turn out any good at all. So I just gave up and waited for Caliban to get on the stage.

Haven´t seen Deathstars since 2006 at Gates of Metal. Not much to say…just one among the best gigs I´ve seen the last year or so…the soundsystem failed once in a while, but overall it was fantastic!

Maybe the fact that I´ve been looping all the Deathstars albums almost exclusively in my Mp3 player the last week helped a bit to really get into the groove;). Lots of photographers! Usually I totally just mind my own business, but this time I really, really envied one no-named person who got to shoot all by himself after we lowlifes had to clear the area in the front (“fotodike” in english, anyone???) after the first three songs.;) Lots of cool stuff happened later in the show…

Gilla Bruja changed to Zebadiah Crowe. I was freezing my ass off all evening and went home after the first 3 with Vader…
Zonaria were better than I expected. Vader got this lineup with all new guys (except Peter). A bit strange, but it still sounded like Vader. Really good drummer…didn´t get any good pics on him.

Klubben for a couple of nights ago… Alexi from Marionettes management asked me if I could go and take some pics. I really liked Marionette live when I saw them last time at the same venue, so of course I did. I wasn´t so familiar with the headliners, August Burns Red from Pennsylvania.

Quite actionpacked hardcoremetal which I do like and I would have stayed a bit longer, but I just wanted to go home as soon as possible when I was done…
I really didn´t like the attitude & the way things (and myself) were handled by the LN staff & quards. They really master the art of taking away any good and enthusiastic feeling you can possibly have when you arrive to the venue. I got tired, depressed and 100 years older (so now i would be…dead??!!) A friend of mine told me to write a hateblog…naahhh. Peace & Love…and all that?

Talked to some nice people, though…Tintin, the Lord of the Lights, and the guys in the bar. And Calm-Daniel and his friend who got a chair thrown to his head at the pre-party…so he walked around bleeding. Hope he didn´t collapse or get some braindamages…

And now to something completely different:
I got my AC/DC ticket!!!! For the second concert, but still! I´m going to see Angus Young!

The bad news (for me anyway) is that I can..t show any pics because  the albums got to be approved by the bands, or their tourmanager or whoever. So it can take awhile…and maybe they don..t like the pics at all? Who knows…
I can also show you my first autographs ever!! Linda Snøvit was at  the venue selling merch for the Japanese bands, so I hang out with her quite a lot while the bands played on.

Johan from Amon Amarth showed also up to hang out with Linda after being on a  football – something,  so I got them to write their autographs in my little book which I always been carrying with me for no reason.
Now I know what to do with it! I will start collecting  autographs!!
You can sell anything on Ebay….so all I have to do is to meet some famous people and I never go hungry again!!
Big thanks to New Nippon who took the bands to Sthlm!
