My third NIFELHEIM gig for this year at BLOD & SVÄRD 4 year party.

One of the very best bands we got and I love them dearly!!:) Just about everybody were there!! The venue was packed and I had a great time just watching the crowd go crazy.

The brave Ester squeezed herself into the front line, but I found myself a nice bench by the wall to stand on. And I stayed there:)
Great spot to take pics of the crowd!! Didn´t see Peter behind the drums from there, tho:/ Anyway, I loved the show!!

One of the greatest bands on earth and not that common to see on a stage in Stockholm!!

 

Some enthusiast poured  beer on my camera when the band entered the stage so had to dry the lens a bit with my sleeve (I do have a filter on it, of course. I don´t use sleeves on the optics. Mostly:). Still I got some of it left in the viewfinder. Haha fukken metalheads:) ❤ Fantastic gig and (ofc) the pics got a nice retro feeling.

 

Very much like the ones I always ended up with back in 2005 at Tantogården shooting with my very first DSLR (Canon 20D, 18-55 kit lens;). In which case, here you go.

Survived one more cruise:) I hate the Fin-Swe boats in general but I love the metalcruises. Thanks to the good people @ Sweden Rock Magazine for always having me: And feeding me. Nifelheim is the shit!! A few of the coolest and probably the most fun hours I will ever spend in the studio.

Lots and lots of gear, including a small coffin, a homemade spiderweb maker (a BRILLIANT invention by Hellbutcher!!) a black plastic bag containing 3 rotten goatheads and all that heavy, spiky stuff the band wear at concerts. Wonder what can be worst…a couple of hours on stage or half a day in a photostudio with all that weight. I´m still very proud of my work that day…and of course for them choosing me as their photographer. They actually booked med almost a year in advance to make sure I´d be available :D

Got a package from Regain today with some stuff containing various bandpics I took for a while ago. A collection of Dismember and Nifelheim posters, CD:s and vinyls.
I love the Nifelheim vinyl!! It looks great with the bigger photos . Even the quite crappy black & red livephoto from Hovet looks nice on the gatefold.

The nicest party this year! Not that I´ve been to so many parties, but still:)
And I finally got the new record for real…I´ve been listening to some mp3:s but now I got the real thing. Nice people (and LOTS of them!), my pics all over the place and a few beers. It could´nt be better.
