Kinda dream come true. Reunited EMPEROR (first time since 2007), awesome setlist: “In the Nightside Eclipse”, a couple of songs from “Wrath of The Tyrant” and finishing with a BATHORY cover. One of the great live experiences in life!
My travelling buddies and the reason I eneded up at SRF this year. I was very excited to see NECROPHOBIC with the new vocalist and can´t say I was disappointed. Quite the opposite. Atte (earlier in the band 1992-1994) is a GREAT frontman and the whole gig was all thunder and darkness even though it was extremely hot and sunny on the stage. Invented a happy dance to “Revelation 666”, but that one you never want to see.
It was only for a couple of persons behind the backdrop. Dunno what L.G. thought about it:)) I´m guest appearing in some of the clips below. Never mind that. I had to.
Anyways, even the very sceptic guy (“It simply just CAN´T work out without T.S.”) in the front row seemed to fully enjoy the gig.
Have waited for YEARS!!! DEATH SS was even better than I expected but they didn´t play s.i.a.g.f.o.m ;( Overall an awesome show!!!
Someone with not that much to do in his/hers life reported a couple of my pics on Steve Sylvester´s personal FB. So FB blocked the pictures. Wonder what shoud have happened if I´d been around during the last song;)) Unfortunately I had to run off to take some pics of Therion, so missed that one. Bummer:))
This years visit at the festival were shorter than usual, so BLACK SABBATH on friday night was the first band I saw. Prince of The fucking Darkness!! Still, Tony Iommi is one of the coolest guys ever existed!! May he still stay with us for a long time!!
